ZAKOPANE TOUR
Although Zakopane is known as the winter capital of Poland, the town is beautiful and attractive all year round. To get familiar with Zakopane, you will start your trip with a stroll along its main thoroughfare - Krupowki street. This pedestrian area features unique Zakopane-style houses and myriad traditional highland inns and restaurants.
When you reach the lower end of the street, you will have a chance to take a ride on a funicular railway to the top of Mount Gubalowka. The summit offers breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains as well as other ranges - The Gorce, the Pieniny and the Beskid.
After you get to the bottom of the mountain, you will continue your trip to the oldest parts of Zakopane. You will visit a beautiful timber lodge of Villa Atma featuring archetypal Zakopane-style architecture. The villa now houses a museum.
The next stop of your trip will be the old Zakopane cemetery "Na Peksowym Brzysku" with beautiful wooden crosses and sculptures.
The trip will end at the 19th-century wooden Old Church.
